Publishing Expertise Built in the Field

Therapeutic Solutions was founded in 2000 with a straightforward purpose: to give scientific and medical journal publishers access to senior circulation and publishing expertise without the cost of maintaining that expertise full-time. Over the past 25 years, the publishing landscape has changed considerably — but the fundamentals of qualified readership, postal compliance, and accurate audit documentation have only grown more demanding.

We work with publishers who need the same kind of operational depth that larger houses carry on staff, but who can't justify that overhead year-round. That might mean taking over a BPA audit cycle, rebuilding a subscriber qualification program, managing fulfillment partners through a transition, or simply providing an independent analysis of where circulation costs can be reduced.

We're selective about the publishers we work with because we believe in giving every engagement the time and focus it deserves. When we take something on, we take full ownership of it. Our clients don't have to manage us — they have other things to do.

In addition to our consulting practice, we publish two peer-reviewed scientific journals: the Journal of Applied Research in Clinical and Experimental Therapeutics (JARCET) and the International Journal of Applied Research in Veterinary Medicine (JARVM). Both journals operate under a rapid peer review model with a single acceptance criterion: scientific accuracy.

Scientific Publishing Focus

We work exclusively in scientific and medical journal publishing. The compliance environment, the audit requirements, and the qualification standards are different here — and that's all we do.

Cost Efficiency

Bring in exactly the expertise you need for exactly as long as you need it. No benefits package, no recruiting cycle, no salary commitment between audit seasons or launch phases.

Selective Client List

We don't take on more than we can do well. Each publisher we work with gets our full attention — not a fraction of it spread across dozens of accounts.

Vendor-Neutral Advice

We have no vendor relationships that create conflicts of interest. Every recommendation we make is based on what's right for your journal — not what benefits a vendor relationship of ours.

Every engagement starts with a conversation, not a proposal. We listen first — to understand your journal's current structure, what's working, what isn't, and where you're headed. From there, we outline exactly what we'd do and what it would cost, before any commitment is made on either side.

We're comfortable working alongside your existing editorial and production staff, integrating into your workflows with minimal disruption. We're equally comfortable stepping in as the operational lead for a function you haven't had the staff to manage. We've done it both ways, and we're direct about which approach makes more sense for your situation.

If you're not sure whether outside help is warranted, start with a free review. We'll look at what you have, tell you what we see, and give you an honest answer — even if that answer is that you don't need us.
